Marco A. Laracca completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree. He then attended and graduated New York Law School. Marco is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
Marco A. Laracca began his legal career serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to The Honorable Burrell I. Humphreys, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County Vicinage, where he performed research in motions, and other related civil litigation matters, and prepared legal memorandums in connection thereto. He assisted in the case management of the 200 oldest civil cases in Passaic County. In 2001, he joined the Law Offices of Bio & Laracca, P.C. where is is a partner and owner.
Marco A. Laracca has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney since 2009. Mr. Laracca’s practice is devoted to criminal defense, plaintiffs’ personal injury and general civil litigation. He has appeared as an expert witness on U.S. civil procedure on a medical malpractice case in Padua, Italy.
He has successfully argued before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the NJ Appellate Division published an opinion on one of the cases he handled involving attorney-client privilege as it pertains to grand jury subpoenas. He also served as local co-counsel on the high-profile post-conviction relief case of State v. Taccetta. Mr. Laracca has been quoted by The New York Times, Newsweek Magazine, New York Post, New York Daily News, TMZ, The Post and Courier, Philadelphia Inquirer, Newark Star Ledger, New Jersey Law Journal and numerous other local newspapers, and has been interviewed by ABC7 NY News and NJ12 News.
